Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Cassie Lee Cat Rescue! In this page we’ll outline the basic requirements and jobs you’ll have to do for us!
Volunteers need to be at least 18 years old or older. We also ask to meet up to explain and demonstrate the work for you guys!
Petco (Cerritos Towne Center) is open Monday-Saturday from 9am-9pm and Sunday 10am-7pm. We have two shifts, the morning and night shifts. For our night shifts we ask that you not go past 8pm to be courteous to the Petco staff. The shifts include cleaning up after any mess cats/ kittens might’ve made. Whether that be some messy eaters, some litter that was accidentally kicked out of the box and litter box cleaning. Of course, we also expect that the cats will be given wet food in the mornings for breakfast and for their food and water to be topped off as needed. For our nights, its basic clean ups! Again, clean up after any mess, give some dry food and topping off water as needed. We absolutely encourage taking pictures and videos of any or all of our cats so we can post and give updates on them!
